Katherine Famiglietti
Strategic web designer
I founded Katitart Studio based on a simple belief: well-being should always come first. I design for people who share that philosophy, such as wellness studios, movement instructors, and trainers who are creating something meaningful.
How I became a web designer
Where analysis meets creation
I’ve always been drawn to two things that don’t usually go together: understanding why something works and creating experiences that communicate clearly. Long before I called myself a web designer, I was fascinated by visual communication, how a message reaches people, how a screen makes them feel something, and how design can solve real problems instead of simply decorating them.
That curiosity led me from visual communication to strategy, then into user experience, and ultimately to web design, the one place where everything came together: research, human behavior, problem-solving, strategy, and aesthetics, all working toward a single purpose.
Today, as an independent web designer, I bring that mindset to every project. I create strategic websites that are designed to communicate clearly, connect with the right audience, and deliver meaningful results for the people they’re truly built for.
“Somewhere along the way, two very different passions started asking the same question:
How do we help people feel better?”
why movement studios and wellness brands
Understending the industry from the inside
I’ve danced since childhood, and that early connection with movement naturally led me to explore yoga and pilates as practices that helped me care for my body and mind, develop body awareness, build strength, and create a deeper sense of wellbeing in my daily life. Eventually, I discovered pole dance and aerial silks and fell in love with them.
Through these experiences, and through the challenges life has brought along the way, I learned a principle that now shapes both my life and my work: wellbeing comes first, followed by personal growth.
That belief, combined with the same curiosity that originally drew me to design, is what led me to specialize as a strategic web designer for wellness, movement, and personal development brands. This is the place where my skills, experiences, and values naturally come together.
For me, wellness website design is more than a service I provide. It is a field I genuinely understand from the inside, allowing me to create digital experiences that feel authentic, meaningful, and aligned with the people they are designed to support.
Expertise
What makes my work different as a strategic web designer
Real specialization
By focusing primarily on designing websites for movement studies, wellness brands, and personal development, I not only ensure that I work with brands whose values align with my own, but I also draw on my personal and professional experience to understand clients’ expectations and needs, the best tools, and the practices that work best for that specific market.
Multilingual and multicultural
Growing up in a multicultural family and having lived and worked in international settings in different countries has shaped the way I see the world. Spanish, French, English, and Italian are the languages I’ve used to live and work, which has taught me that the same text can be interpreted completely differently in each culture. As one of the few multilingual independent web designers specializing in the wellness sector in Europe, I create bilingual and trilingual websites with a consistent tone from the start, without intermediaries or loss of meaning.
Design built around your business
My background combines art direction, UX/UI, communication, and digital marketing. The starting point for my projects is always “what does the visitor need to understand and feel before they book.” Every decision about layout, hierarchy, and structure has a strategic reason behind it.
The result isn’t just a website that looks professional but one that actively works to bring you inquiries and bookings, and gently filters out the clients who aren’t the right fit for you.
A real collaborator
It’s really important to me that we have a relationship built on trust and understanding, and that you feel safe and comfortable at all times.
My process incorporates essential steps such as discussions about your needs, explanations of each strategic decision, rounds of feedback and revisions, instructions on how to use the website, and maintenance plans in case you’d like ongoing support even after the site is up and running.
